Repairs.
An in store comprehensive repair service is available Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm
Should you bring in your computer for repair, you will be asked a few questions which will help us diagnose your problem. You will be given an approximate waiting time for your repair to be completed and once the problem has been identified, Gibson Computers will contact you with the options available before carrying out further work.
Repairs are booked in and placed in a queuing system.
You will be given a repair sheet documenting your details and a unique job identification number which you must quote if you enquire about your computer whilst with Gibsons
You will also need to quote this number when collecting your machine
No repair will be worked on whilst the customer waits.
Repairs can be pre booked if necessary - just ring to make an appointment.
On Site Work
Private individuals
On site work can be undertaken on an appointment basis. A brief description of the work required will be needed to assess the approximate length of appointment required.
Appointments can be made by contacting us during working hours.
Business work
Gibson Computers provide a comprehensive service to businesses.

Broadband Setup.
On site visits can be arranged for setting up broadband and wireless encryption. A half price reduction for this is available every THURSDAY.
Appointments are made throughout the day. Customers are advised that whilst every effort is made to arrive on time, a delay at a previous appointment may result in a late arrival. However you will be kept informed on the day of any delays.

A price list for BROADBAND THURSDAY is detailed below;
To attend site within 5 mile radius £15
£1 per mile thereafter
Set up Router/Check Router settings £5
Connect one computer using network cable FREE
Additional computers wired/wireless £5 per computer
Set Up Wireless Encrytion on Router £5
Set up emails (Outlook Express or Hotmail £10/user
£5 additional users
Additional work £30 per hour
Customers MUST ensure that Broadband is available on day of visit. If broadband is unavailable due to ISP/BT problems then visit will be £20.

Calls on any other weekday will be charged at normal rates.
New Computer Systems.
Gibson Computers staff build all new desktop/tower systems on the premises.
Customers can specify their own requirments for their system...
Gibsons will build whatever you desire.
You need only purchase what you want - from tower only to complete systems including: monitor, keyboard, mouse, printer,webcam, etc.
